2023: Start of Mass Production

Sollers restarted the plant in Vladivostok, where Mazda cars were previously produced. On September 11, 2023, serial production of Sollers T6 pickups began there. We are talking about the Automotive Industrial Technologies (A&T) site.

The Sollers ST6 is equipped with a down-gear four-wheel drive system. The engine range included gasoline (176 hp; 290 Nm) and diesel (136 hp; 320 Nm) 2.0 liter engines, combined with a 6-speed mechanical transmission. The dimensions of the cargo compartment are 1520x1520x470 mm. the load capacity of the version with a gasoline engine is 820 kg, with diesel - 900 kg.

The basic equipment of the pickup includes two airbags, air conditioning, cruise control, on-board computer, audio system, electrical adjustments of side mirrors and electric windows, heated front seats and rear parking sensors. For a surcharge, leather trim of the steering wheel and seats, keyless access with a starting button, a multimedia system with 6 speakers and a touch screen with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a rear view camera are available.

The gasoline version of Sollers ST6 was estimated at 2.4 million rubles, diesel - at 2.5 million rubles. The start of sales is scheduled for October 2023. Plans to localize the model include the installation of Sollers engines and transmission, as well as the use of Russian electronics.

According to Kommersant, at the beginning of 2024, another pickup truck will be installed on the A&T conveyor, but the model line will expand into other segments. A&T conveyor is not equipped with welding and painting lines. But the models will be assembled using local components - at first with the ERA-Glonass unit and electronics, and then with the Russian engine and automatic transmission, said a newspaper source familiar with the company's plans.[1]
