In recent years increasing number of the companies carriers, realizing need of monitoring of vehicles, use services of remote control of the vehicle fleets. Considering requirements of the market, the Rate Developments company represents Rate GMS Beta 1.1, the test version of a new end-to-end system of satellite monitoring of Rate GMS which release is planned for December, 2010.
Rate GMS is based on use of technology GPS and GLONASS navigation for position fix of subjects to observation and provides the complete information about location and a status of a subject to observation in real time. A system has a distributed architecture and the friendly WEB interface.
At system development by a project team special attention was paid to data processing rate, the graphical interface of the application and safety of collecting, storage and data transmission.
Besides in a system the system of work with information objects that allows to use a system not only for monitoring of subjects to observation, but also as some knowledge base which users of a system can directly fill is provided.
