Gazprom Neft, together with VK, launched a cloud platform for the development of new IT solutions. A virtual infrastructure has been deployed in the digital cloud for the joint work of the company's programmers and its technology partners. VK announced this on September 14, 2023.

The oil cloud platform Gazprom is based on Private Cloud VK and combines computing resources as well as tools to work with, data for example, a regulatory reference management system has already been deployed in a virtual environment. Platform resources are also available for artificial intelligence developments.

The transition to this IT infrastructure has increased the efficiency of using the computing power of Gazprom Neft - on average, this figure for the company increased from 30 to 70% when using cloud technologies. Platform users have access to distributed storage technologies, advanced hardware and IT solutions that will accelerate the launch of new business services and ensure fast scalability and reliable protection of digital products.
