2023: Pilot: PLM Implementation Agreement
NIPTB Onega JSC (part of the United Shipbuilding Corporation) and ASCON are expanding cooperation in the field of digitalization of design. The enterprise will implement Engineering Data and Product Lifecycle Management System Pilot: PLM. ASCON announced this on September 27, 2023.
The agreement on the start of work was signed by the general director of NIPTB "Onega" Konstantin Kulikov and General Director of ASCON Maxim Bogdanov.
The transition to an end-to-end PLM system is designed to integrate all engineering services enterprises in a single information environment in order to speed up design processes and eliminating risks associated with the use of irrelevant engineering data.
The choice for PLM from ASCON is based on the partnerships that have developed between the company and the developer for 24 years. More than 200 NIPTB engineers Onega works daily with the computer-aided design system KOMPAS-3D and its specialized applications.
