Kuzbass develops a regional system of telemedicine consultations together with Netrika Medicine

2023: Telemedicine Information System Launch

In the Kemerovo region, a regional telemedicine information system has been launched. The solution was developed on the basis of the service "N3.Telemedicine consultations" of the company "Netrika Medicine," which announced this on October 3, 2023.

The system was implemented by the Netrika Medicine team together with the Kuzbass Regional Medical Information and Analytical Center (KOMIAC). As of October 2023, 90 medical organizations are connected to the system.

The system replaced the previous solution, which did not allow interaction with federal services of the Unified State Information System in the field of health care (Uniform State Health Information System). The platform developed by Netrika Medicine is integrated with both the GIS of the region and the Uniform State Health Information System. In particular, it allows you to transfer TMK protocols - the results of consultations - to the federal Register of Electronic Medical Documents (RAMD).

The regional telemedicine information system is part of the state health information system of Kuzbass. The TMK system helps the region to solve the extremely important task of advising medical personnel working in hard-to-reach areas. Such consultations contribute to equal access for all citizens to highly qualified medical care, allow them to quickly make decisions in difficult clinical cases or emergency situations when it comes to the patient's life, "said Olesya Prydul, director of the KOMIAC.

The "seamless" implementation of the system was helped by the testing stage, which was carried out with the participation of two pilot clinics and took three months. Next, the region carried out large-scale work, including the training of medical personnel, the adjustment of processes within medical institutions, the development of the TMK protocol in the format of an electronic document.

As a result, the number of TMK held in the region more than quadrupled: from 1057 in 2022 to 4482 in 2023. In addition, in 2023, consultations covered all districts of the Kemerovo region, including the most remote. The largest number of TMK doctors of Kuzbass conducted in the areas of "Cardiology" (754) and "Oncology" (435).

The TMK service connects doctors from cities and territories that separate hundreds of kilometers. Thus, doctors from Prokopyevsk managed to save a patient injured in an accident thanks to a telemedicine consultation conducted with colleagues from Kemerovo.

In 2023, TMK in the "doctor-patient" format was also launched in the Kemerovo region. The solution was deployed on the basis of the regional patient portal, updated in the spring of 2023 with the participation of specialists from Netrika Medicine. About 1.2 thousand residents of Kuzbass use the portal every day.
