2023: Information System Upgrade

The X-Com Group of Companies has completed the project for the development of the information system of the St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI" named after V.I. Ulyanova (Lenin). The institution's information system includes automated workplaces equipped in accordance with the requirements of its work processes. X-Com announced this on October 5, 2023.

X-Com engineers conducted an audit of the customer's IT systems, studied the requirements for computer equipment, and also analyzed the structure of paper document flow and the volume of color and monochrome printing. Based on the obtained data, detailed recommendations for the composition of the equipment were developed, its technical specifications were compiled and a project for scaling the information system was developed.

Especially for this project, the production division of X-Com manufactured and supplied dozens of workstations. Thus, it was possible to achieve their best ratio of price, functionality and performance, as well as full compliance with customer requirements. In addition, a number of new jobs were equipped with laptops ASUS a 15 'Laptop. The project was preceded by an open tender, the participants of which were the Russian manufacturers and suppliers computers of peripheral equipment. When evaluating competitive bids, along with the quotation, the experience of candidates in implementing similar projects for state educational institutions was considered. The winner was X-Com, which offered the best conditions for the implementation of the project and service support IT solution.
