2023: Implementation of Norbit BI

Baltair SPb, one of the tire distributors on the Russian market, is introducing the Norbit BI analytical solution developed by Norbit (part of the LANIT group). This will allow the company to monitor key indicators of wholesale and retail sales, as well as simplify and speed up management decisions. Norbit announced this on October 18, 2023.

The solution is deployed in the Baltair SPb IT landscape. During the project, the NORBIT expert team configured the automatic unloading of data from internal sources and integration with storage in 1C, and established constant updates. All relevant business information was also consolidated, seven analytical panels and about 30 types of visualizations were prepared. On the platform, it is possible to create your own dashboards, which can then be used and customized by other users.

Baltair SPb specialists now get access to data in different sections: by managers, types and brand of products, sales geography, with filters by time, by product and by category. In addition, they can set up reporting based on margin, profit by product type and with the output of averages. It is possible to conduct a comparative analysis on the selected scenarios. In this case, the system provides for the distinction of access rights by roles, taking into account the functionality and the organizational perimeter.

The implementation of the solution will significantly improve the awareness of the company's management about the wholesale and retail sales process, allow you to quickly evaluate the work of each manager, receive information about warehouse balances and quickly make informed decisions. Now you don't have to waste time looking for the necessary information in disparate files, each required report is always at hand in real time, said Maxim Samarin, General Director of Baltair SPb.
