Norbit (part of the Lanit group) has presented its own solution for building and visualizing analytical reporting - Norbit BI. Representatives of Norbit announced this to TAdviser on September 21, 2021. As conceived by the developers, the solution will allow companies from any industry to consolidate all relevant business information and use analytics to make quick and informed management decisions.

Norbit BI is based on open source Apache Superset software and, according to Norbit representatives, complements it with the missing functionality. The solution architecture includes a web server, database metadata, query message queue, cache, and result backend. The software is installed locally in the client's IT landscape and does not require the purchase of licenses. Norbit experts configure the automatic unloading of information from internal sources and repositories, ensure their regular update.

According to the company, the system combines a full-fledged set of tools for working with data: collection, analytics, preparation and visualization of the necessary reports and dashboards. With its help, you can get an objective picture of all business processes taking place in the company. Online aggregates key indicators in the field of production, finance, wholesale or retail sales, procurement and logistics, personnel management. From all developed analytical panels, they are unloaded into generally accepted reporting forms, and can also be presented in any sections.

At the same time, the platform has a wide range of capabilities, integration scaling and customization. Users can collect their own reports in the visual designer and refine them depending on tasks without involving developers. They also have built-in support for most databases and an extensible model safety with delimitation of rights by roles.
