Hoff will support online sales growth with the GMonit platform. This was announced on October 18, 2023 by HyperSoftLab (GMonit).

As part of the development of the direction e-commerce and preparation of online store Hoff for the peak loads of the upcoming seasonal online sales retailer integrated of observability, the GMonit platform, which allowed you to configure deep APM monitoring of applications and thereby ensure reliable and uninterrupted operation of the resource.

Given the goals for the development of online commerce and the upcoming season of autumn-winter sales, Hoff needed to solve three key tasks: to ensure the reliable operation of the e-comm direction in the context of active business growth - 84% of Y2Y growth, increase the speed of debugging and release of new releases - 24 releases per year, realize the possibility of quick localization of incidents and reduce the time for their elimination.

To solve these problems, in addition to the already developed monitoring of the IT infrastructure, Hoff, with technical support from Hoff Tech, providing the functioning of the Hoff IT infrastructure, integrated the Russian APM tool GMonit.

To monitor Hoff applications, we use various tools: Zabbix, Grafana and others. They collect many metrics, but do not provide the level of monitoring depth we need and the overall picture of the system. Before GMonit, we could localize the problem on indirect grounds, which significantly increased the time for analyzing incidents, - explained Alexey Maksimov, head of development at Hoff Tech, - we had to spend more time on optimization tasks.

After implementing GMonit, the Hoff development team receives relevant information about the operation of systems immediately after release, in 3 clicks understands the root causes and can correlate the impact of new code on user experience.

One of the priority areas for the development of the Hoff online store is the speed of page loading, and in the context of seasonal sales, this issue is especially relevant. GMonit helped us achieve targets and carefully prepare for peak loads, "added Alexey Maksimov.

As a result of a joint project between Hoff and GMonit, the retailer reduced the time to resolve incidents after releases from 24 hours to 10 minutes and provided end-to-end monitoring of the application at the backend, database and external services levels. The Hoff team has received a tool to help strengthen the retailer's position in the furniture and homewares market.
