History

2025: Rasha Partners buys Russian business from HDI Global

The Rasha Partners consulting company represented by Dmitry Piskulov, General Director of Gardia Capital Partners LLC, acquired 100% of the Russian business of the German insurance company HDI Global SE. The deal was closed on February 19, 2025, after which the insurer changed its name to SK Hansa. This was reported in a press release from the company dated April 18, 2025.

According to RBC, the German companies HDІ Global Network AG and HDI Global SE, which owned 99% and 1% of the shares, respectively, sold the entire stake of the Russian subsidiary to Dmitry Piskulov, who owns 10% of the consulting firm Rasha Partners Advisors. Before rebranding, the Russian company was called IC "EchDiAi Global" and since 2010 was part of the German insurance group Talanx.

Frank Media drew attention to the information on the sale of the business contained in the press release of the insurance company. According to the SPARK system, the Russian division of HDI Global SE officially changed ownership in February 2025.

As Frank Media notes, this is not the first transaction on the acquisition by Rush Partners employees of divisions of foreign insurers. Previously, they became the owners of the AIG insurance company, which belonged to the American holding AIG. After the change of owners, the company was renamed, IC "Gardia" but in April 2023, the company's assets were acquired by structures controlled by the oil company. Lukoil^[1]

The shareholders of SK EchDiAi Global LLC are H&D Global Network Joint Stock Company and H&D Global ES Joint Stock Company, which are members of the Talanx Group.
