Paper waybills have long shown their inconvenience and low efficiency. So, drivers can lose or forget them, and the approval and transfer process takes too long. In an effort to speed up the procedure, many carriers violated the requirements of the Ministry of Transport and underwent medical examinations fictitiously. This posed a threat on the roads - both for the driver himself and for other road users, as well as for passengers.

The decision of the Ministry of Transport to approve the exchange of electronic transportation documents made it possible to simplify and speed up the process for drivers, as well as start using high technologies. For example, the ATIMO service forms waybills in a convenient QR code format right in the application. All documents are in the same medium and have the same force as paper counterparts.

In addition, the decision to exchange electronic transportation documents made it possible to conduct medical examinations at the telemedicine terminal, which further speeds up and simplifies the verification process. Right in the application, the driver can choose any convenient inspection point - for example, the one that is closer to home or to the start point. There is also an inspection of the vehicle by a mechanic. This approach allows you not to waste time on daily trips to the base and routine processes, which means that you can get to work faster. At the same time, road safety is maintained, and reputational risks for hiring companies are eliminated.

This application significantly reduces the duration of the procedure and is available for all carriers, which increases the legitimacy of the waybill, as well as increases the safety of transportation. Since September, more than 7,000 drivers have already used the service. We are aimed at expanding the geography of the application, while it is available at 60 pre-trip inspection points in 19 regions of the Russian Federation, - said Valery Gayevsky, founder of ATIMO.

The results of medical and technical examinations are sent through electronic document flow, and on their basis a waybill is automatically formed in the mobile application. This procedure takes about 5 minutes - much less than with a classic inspection and formation of a paper document.
