The Moscow Jewelry Plant (MUZ) was founded in 1920 and is part of a group of companies that carries out a full cycle of operations - from processing raw materials to selling finished products, and also has its own retail network. MIUZ Diamonds chain has more than 350 outlets throughout Russia, in Belarus and Kazakhstan, including 250 own stores.
Performance indicators
2024: Revenue growth by a third to 23.5 billion rubles
At the end of 2024, the Moscow Jewelry Plant (JSC MUZ) received revenue of 23.53 billion rubles. This is about a third more compared to the previous year, when it amounted to 17.48 billion rubles. The corresponding indicators are presented in the financial statements, which TAdviser got acquainted with in mid-August 2025.
The cost of sales year-on-year jumped by 61.3% - from 6.58 billion rubles to 10.62 billion rubles. Commercial expenses increased from 4.28 billion rubles to 5.9 billion rubles, that is, by 37.8%. Management expenses rose by 6.6%, amounting to 1.19 billion rubles against 1.11 billion rubles in 2023. Other revenues soared more than tenfold - from 41.02 million rubles to 540.03 million rubles. Other expenses increased by 123.4% - from 876.77 million rubles to 1.96 billion rubles.
Sales of products, goods, works and services brought 22.98 billion rubles: this is 38% more than in 2023, when the figure was 16.66 billion rubles. Payments to suppliers (contractors) for raw materials, materials, works and services rose by about a quarter - from 14.62 billion rubles to 18.09 billion rubles. Expenses in connection with the remuneration of workers increased by 20.4% - from 2.94 billion rubles to 3.54 billion rubles.
Gross profit is indicated in the amount of 12.91 billion rubles: this is 18.5% more than in 2023, when it was equal to 10.9 billion rubles. Profit from sales rose by 5.8% - from 5.51 billion rubles to 5.82 billion rubles. At the same time, net profit decreased by 22.1%, amounting to 2.57 billion rubles against 3.3 billion rubles in 2023.
Accounts receivable as of December 31, 2024 amounted to 4.1 billion rubles, which is 28.2% more compared to the previous year (3.2 billion rubles). Accounts payable decreased by 16% - from 9.03 billion rubles to 7.58 billion rubles.[1]
2021: MIUZ Diamonds: Rebranding and new name of Moscow Jewellery Factory
On March 18, 2021, an event was held in Moscow dedicated to the centenary and rebranding of the Moscow Jewelry Plant.
MIUZ Diamonds is part of a group of companies that carry out a full production cycle from processing raw materials to selling finished products. The company's two own factories are located in Perm and Moscow, and Russian gold and Russian diamonds are used for the production of jewelry.
The rebranding of MIUZ touched on the logo, the design of flagship stores and, of course, the collections themselves: there are more than fifty of them in the brand's assortment, which means that each woman will be able to find a product to her taste and budget.
