2023: Development of an automated robot for livestock complexes
The Moscow company has developed an automated robot for livestock complexes. The device monitors cattle feeding and frees staff from routine manual labor. This was announced on December 19, 2023 by the Minister of the Government of Moscow, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Vladislav Ovchinsky.
Moscow industrialists create innovative products and produce high-tech devices to facilitate labor-intensive human labor. For example, the capital company "VM Catalog" has developed a robot for animal husbandry. It controls the feeding of cattle on livestock complexes and farms. In mid-2022, tests began, and in 2023 they came to an end. The manufacturer plans to produce 100 devices a year, - said Vladislav Ovchinsky. |
The robot drives along the stalls and replenishes the supply of food for cattle. The main goal is to automate the processes of feeding animals and simplify the work of people. With the help of the application, a person can track the dynamics of food consumption, the charge of a robot, as well as compose a diet and analyze the nutritional content of feed.
We began developing the robot at the end of 2021, and by 2023 the final sample was ready. In the first quarter of 2024, we plan to sign contracts with potential buyers and start mass production. In the creation of our device, scientific support is provided by the "Federal Scientific Agroengineering Center of VIM." Previously, such projects were implemented only abroad, - said the general director of the company Evgeny Nikitin. |
