Increase in scale of business of the Company resulted in need of automation of many processes including automation of conducting management accounting. Choice of a system "INTALEV: Corporate management" among different management systems as the standard for automation of financial activities was very careful.
As a result the following advantages "INTALEV were formulated: Corporate management", in comparison with the competing systems:
- ability to integrate with the existing accounting system;
- visual setup of a system;
- "flexibility" of a system;
- possibility of gradual expansion of functionality;
- ability to integrate with other accounting systems.
The project on implementation of functional area "Management accounting and the reporting" started in October, 2009 and was finished in December, 2009. Methodological setting of a system, automation and start of a system was during this time carried out to commercial operation (on the basis of real data for 2008 - 2009).
The complexity of the project was that, the main storage of management information was the database "1C: Trade 8.1" which initial setup was performed without participation of financial service. The database was configured on the solution of local tasks, reflection of revenue, accounting of goods, accounting of settlement with partners. The financial result was not output, the applied order of document flow did not allow to determine cost of the sold goods correctly.
Together with consultants INTALEV uniform managerial account policy with the IFRS elements was developed that allowed not to spend time for correction of system mistakes and also to obtain reliable information.
Before automation of management accounting in an information system "INTALEV: Corporate management" user training was provided. Training was provided at the high professional grade. On the one hand, it allowed to speak with consultants INTALEV at automation stages "one language" and to understand logic of system operation "from within", and when obtaining results as together with consultants, so independently to test an information system, for the purpose of different exception of risks in the future.
Before start of the project we designated criteria which achievement is obligatory in order that we could recognize that the Project achieved the goals, and we received the real working tool for business management.
All criteria of success were successfully reached:
- The developed methodology of management accounting and forms of the reporting conforms to requirements of the Customer;
- There is the only complete database;
- Flexible reconfiguration of a system. The project team of the Customer is able to create independently new formats of the reporting and to support system operation;
- The indicators allowing to analyze results of activity of group are developed.
Before start of the project terms and project cost were accurately determined. Upon completion of the project, we can tell that consultants managed to sustain INTALEV as the offered project implementation terms, and the cost of project works.
