According to the company, the choice of DATAREON solution was associated with another automation project. The Tula Dairy Plant collaborated with the company, AXELOT a permanent partner of DATAREON, as part of a project of comprehensive automation - logistics implementation WMS TMS and systems that needed to be integrated into the information circuit of the enterprise. It was AXELOT that proposed using a partner solution for DATAREON ESB system integration and implemented it.

The Tula Dairy Plant has a historically disparate information loop, which includes a common corporate system and a separate production loop, then logistics management solutions were added to them.

Before the introduction of the bus, the enterprise used separate services for data transfer, which were created for a particular system. Various options for file exchange were also used - from an ad hoc task to a semi-automatic upload, when the user uploads files for exchange, and then a special service processes them and moves them to the source system. And there were a lot of such features. Since it was impossible to centrally manage the exchange taking into account all the available features without a special tool, the management of the enterprise decided to adopt the proposed integration solution in order to unify the processes of managing information flows.

Despite the fact that the data bus was offered by the partner, it was important for the enterprise that the integration solution, first of all, provide a stable and reliable exchange.

Previously, we used either procedural or file data exchange between systems. These mechanisms often created problems - mutual blockages when accessing directly databases , etc. We decided to make the proposed solution. Despite the fact that in fact we did not choose it, I can say for sure that at the time of implementation (approx., 2019) there were no analogues of DATAREON ESB on the market. noted Alexey Zabelnikov, head of the IT department of the Tula Dairy Plant

The implementation of DATAREON ESB went in parallel with the implementation of WMS and TMS. Initially, the bus was used as a transport for data exchange between the corporate system and logistics management systems. Over time, the integration circuit began to develop. Under the control of DATAREON ESB, the exchange of data within the old operational loop for production control, which is gradually being withdrawn from use, and directly within the production loop, came under the control of DATAREON ESB. In addition, as of February 2024, Tula Dairy Plant is actively working on the transition to 1C:ERP, which will become the main corporate system of the enterprise, so solution 1C is now also included in the integration circuit.

Of the main possibilities for using DATAREON ESB, the IT department of the Tula Dairy Plant notes the delivery of messages and detailed logging of the data transfer process, which allows you to track which route the message was sent and, in case of failure, quickly find the source of the problem.

Routing itself and the ability from one source to send a packet with data to several systems at the same time, while each system "receiver" will take for itself only the information necessary for it - a rather convenient mechanism. Delivery of messages helps the enterprise to ensure the stability of business processes, even if the "human factor" influences or, for example, the temporary unavailability of the system for which the transmitted information is intended. The packets are stored on the bus and delivered to the recipients in full after the resumption of operability without having to be unloaded again.

The IT department of the Tula Dairy Plant also managed to find an abnormal application of the bus - as a kind of duplication of significant packages in the form of files that are saved to disk and allow, if necessary, to track whether the package was in the system or not, without even referring to logging logs. This capability optimizes decision-making in certain situations.

In general, the process of data exchange between enterprise systems has become more manageable, so the IT department of the mill seeks to transfer integration flows under the control of DATAREON ESB. When the process of replacing key systems is completed, in the dry balance, the enterprise will receive a simple and reliable integration loop, in which there will be a master system (ERP), which will send and exchange data with receiving systems exclusively through the DATAREON bus.

The key task facing the IT department of the Tula Dairy Plant is to update DATAREON ESB to the current release. After - continue the work on unification and ordering of the integration circuit.

Even taking into account the fact that during the transition to an updated corporate and production system, a whole temporary "ball" of exchanges was formed in the IT structure of the Tula Dairy Plant, it is the DATAREON solution that allows them to be effectively managed.
