With barcodes, you can forget about recording the names of the item on sheets or in notebooks, about re-listing during inventory, and even about a long search for goods in the accounting system. But if for standard accounting within the enterprise you can generate your own ShK, then for the sale of goods you can not do without registering codes in the international database.

Construction and paint materials, carpentry and chemistry, paint materials, engineering systems, tools, equipment and accessories, metalware and fasteners, electricians are only a small part of the range of STROYBAZA No. 1. The company's online catalog contains more than 10,000 items of goods for construction and repair and more than 500 brands. The company also has its own fleet and provides delivery services for orders in the region.

When the management of STROYBAZA No. 1 decided to open a retail network of stores of the same name, the question arose of optimizing accounting. The wholesale warehouse was already partially automated using "1C: Trade Management 10.3," but the storekeepers carried out inventories in the old fashioned way: they manually counted the goods and checked them against the list of items printed on A4 sheets. This division in accounting occurred due to the fact that not all goods were marked with barcodes.

Tasks

An independent inventory is convenient: it saves the time and own resources of the company, does not cause the need to work on night shifts, minimizes the risks associated with the human factor. In addition, an outsider will definitely not rig the results of the recalculation of goods. However, the more customer assets become, the more rational the decision to automate the business and abandon the services of third-party auditors becomes.

For a long time, the management of STROYBAZ No. 1 has attracted specialists on an outsource basis to conduct warehouse audits. But gradually it became clear that in order to simplify the inventory process itself and reduce the time for their implementation, some new solution is needed.
