2021

As reported on Alexander Solodovnikov's LinkedIn page, in 2021 he began working at Abu Dhabi-based investment company Mubadala, which in 2018, together with the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), bought 22.5% of the Russian Fitness Group from VTB Capital.

2024: Appointment as CEO of Russian Fitness Group

In early February 2024, Alexander Solodovnikov became the general director of the Russian Fitness Group (RFG), which manages the World Class and UFC GYM Russia fitness clubs. He replaced Nikolai Pryanishnikov, who headed the company since 2015.

Nikolai Pryanishnikov, in a conversation with Kommersant, said that he had decided to "start a new stage of his career." According to him, he is "pleased with the results of his work in World Class." So far, the expert will focus on working on the boards of directors of three companies, and he is also considering proposals for a leadership post from two technology companies.

Alexander Solodovnikov said that he will continue to work "on the development of the product offer" and will implement solutions that should improve interaction with club members. RFG President Olga Slutsker stressed that his experience as an investor, analyst and competencies in digital technologies are combined with knowledge of the fitness industry.
