Nikolay Pryanishnikov announces the results of 2010 (amateur record)
As president of Microsoft Russia, Nikolai Pryanishnikov said that in order to improve the quality of work, users should abandon the use of older versions of programs and, especially, "curved" programs like Open Office (at the informal presentation of Microsoft Office 2010 in September 2010). "We made a strategic decision - we go to the cloud and make all our products available as cloud services. Our slogan - "We are all in" - says we are all inside the cloud and all our products inside the cloud. At the same time, we try to make sure that the client always has the widest choice: use Microsoft products based on his infrastructure or use them in the form of cloud services. There is also a third option - to use a combined approach, i.e. deploy part of the products on your infrastructure, and use part in the cloud "(December 2010).

He was responsible for technology policy, the development of Microsoft's public sector business, as well as interaction with state and public organizations and the company's contribution to the development of social initiatives.
Instead of Pryanishnikov, Pavel Betsis, who previously held the position of head of business strategies in Central and Eastern Europe, was appointed president of the Microsoft in Russia since July 2014.

2020: Nikolai Pryanishnikov robbed by cybercriminals
On February 27, Nikolai Pryanishnikov said on his Facebook page that cybercrime had been committed against him the day before. At the end of the day, he found that his credit card debt had begun to rise rapidly.
I look at the details: write-offs are going on in different amounts, and the total amount of write-offs is already 180 thousand rubles, - says Pryanishnikov. |
According to him, the write-offs were, including tens of thousands of rubles, for business projects with Facebook, but Pryanishnikov claims that he did not order any projects. At one time, he did small-amount ads on Instagram several times to test the tool. The system seemed convenient: by registering a card in a Facebook business account, you can quickly promote posts. Nikolai Pryanishnikov says that he did not use this service much, but the card remained registered.
I found my Facebook business account hacked and probably advertised on different resources. Money from the card was debited..., - writes Pryanishnikov. |
I had to quickly block the card, change passwords on all resources. It took a while. In addition to blocking and changing passwords, Nikolai Pryanishnikov also wrote to the bank and Facebook.
The next morning, he received a response from Facebook, where they reported that they had checked everything, confirmed that it was a fraud, and said that they would return the funds.
At the end of the message, he gave a number of personal conclusions and recommendations:

We plan to develop the company into a global IT giant. Interesting! - wrote Nikolai Pryanishnikov. |
He clarified to TAdviser that we are talking about the Astra group of companies and the position of an independent director, a member of the board of directors.
As part of the preparation of the IPO in Astra Group, a board of directors was created, to which Nikolai Pryanishnikov was invited as an independent director. He oversees the company's strategy and development issues and sits on the board's audit committee. Today, the group relies on improving the efficiency of all business processes and further business expansion. We are confident that Nikolai's examination will help in achieving these goals, "Elena Borodkina, Deputy General Director for Economic and Financial Affairs of Astra Group, told TAdviser. |
Also, the "innovative telecommunications company," where Nikolai Pryanishnikov has been on the board of directors for several years, he was elected chairman of the committee on personnel, remuneration and corporate governance. Here we mean "Transtelecom."
In addition, in the "technology company-integrator, market leader," Nikolai Pryanishnikov was elected chairman of the board of directors. The name of this company was not disclosed due to the risk of sanctions.
In addition, Nikolai Pryanishnikov is a member of the Supervisory Board of the Association of Professional Directors of ANDA.
At the same time, as Nikolai Pryanishnikov wrote, he will consider proposals for the next executive role: he is interested in the positions of CEO, general director, executive vice president for the next 3-9 years "in promising companies, with the right mission."
I don't want to rush (there are already first proposals), you need to make the right choice, - said Nikolai Pryanishnikov on his personal page on the VK social network. |
