2024: Development of geoportals of the industrial zone

MegaFon has developed a multifunctional geoportal of the Noyabrsk industrial zone for the city administration. It will optimize the work of municipal structures and more effectively make management decisions. MegaFon announced this on February 14, 2024.

The industrial zone in Noyabrsk is almost half (44.3%) of the entire territory of the city - 17.2 sq. Km. It contains large oil and gas and manufacturing enterprises. To create a digital copy of the industrial zone, aerial photography of objects and terrain was carried out, and information from the Unified Cartographic System (CEN) of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the resources of Roskadastra and Rosreestr was integrated. As a result, MegaFon has developed a digital platform in the form of a 3D map, which contains databases on real estate objects, land plots, ground and underground communications, transport infrastructure, objects with special conditions of use. At the request of the user, the digital portal is able to issue and visualize the necessary set of data in real time.

Thanks to the created digital copy of the industrial zone, the Noyabrsk administration will be able to identify the misuse of land, determine which objects were built without permission, assess the prospects for the construction of new ones, and also monitor construction sites. In the future, the city administration intends to create a digital 3D model of the entire territory of Noyabrsk, which will include residential areas and infrastructure: housing and communal services, transport, social facilities.

The 3D map helps to solve a number of important tasks for our municipality, reducing at times the time for requests for profile information in departments. For example, before the eyes of an employee of the Department of Economic Development, there is all the information for detailed negotiations with potential investors in order to select a land plot, track security zones and communications on the site. The management of the municipality saw great potential in the project and intends to develop its capabilities and coverage area of ​ ​ the 3D map. So, in 2024, a detailed orthofuels of residential areas of Noyabrsk will be shot and all the necessary working layers will be connected, - said Sergei Gorbachev, deputy head of the city of Noyabrsk.
