SoftBalance transferred the warehouse of Würt-Rus JSC from imported software to 1C: WMS. SoftBalance announced this on March 14, 2024.

Würt-Rus JSC was founded in 1993 as a subsidiary of the trade and production holding Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG, and broadcasts to Russia high standards in the field of supplies of consumables and tools for production and automotive service enterprises.

The warehouse area in Moscow is 10,000 m2. The number of active item items is 10,000, the number of storage locations is 19,000, and the average number of shipping orders is about 450 per day.

The need for import substitution of Western software pushed the management of Würt-Rus JSC to choose and switch to the domestic analogue of WMS. The task was to preserve the existing warehouse business processes in the new system, with the ability to modify and modify them if necessary. A system based on 1C: Enterprise - 1C: WMS Logistics was selected for implementation. Warehouse Management "edition 5, the integrator was the SoftBalance group of companies.

The project has set up data exchange between 1C: ERP Enterprise Management and 1C: WMS Logistics. Warehouse Management "according to the order scheme. The warehouse topology, including zones, bin types, and the bins themselves, was imported from the historical warehouse system.

As a result of the project, the warehouse was successfully transferred to the Russian WMS, all the necessary initial information, including the weight and size characteristics of the SKU, cell capacity, makeup parameters, initial residues in the cell section, was transferred to the new system. To preserve the business processes of the replaced system and expand the functionality, in "1C:Enterprise 8. WMS Logistics. Warehouse Management "modifications to the typical configuration were carried out, among which the following can be distinguished:

  • Setting up a trust acceptance mechanism with the ability to download data from the supplier from Excel;
  • Report for transport companies, including information on

cargo items to be shipped, and master containers allowing logistics companies to automatically upload cargo information;

  • The report, which is online, in one tabular document displays current balances on to data ERP and on WMS data, as well as discrepancies, if any.

The launch of 1C: WMS into commercial operation took place without stopping the operation of the warehouse, support and support are carried out by specialists of the SoftBalance group of companies remotely. From the beginning of the simulation to the test operation, 6 months passed.
