Biography

Eugene graduated from the Moscow State Engineering Physics Institute with a degree in Physics of Charged Particle Beams and Accelerator Technology. After graduation, he worked as an engineer at the Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Physics.

In the early 2000s, Eugene changed his field of activity to commercial - he joined Alvis + as a procurement manager. Then he continued his professional development in the procurement of consumer electronics and photographic equipment in the companies "Tekhsoyuz" and "Alion."

In 2011, Evgeny moved to Byrokrat as head of the accessories procurement department. In August 2013, Burokrat signed a strategic partnership agreement with Merlion and became part of the group of companies. Eugene joined the Merlion team in the role of Product Team Lead of the procurement department "Accessories," and since July 2020 he has held the position of Product Development Manager of the procurement department "Consumer Electronics."

2024: Director of STM Merlion Division

On March 19, 2024, Evgeny Zakhodnov was appointed director of the STM Merlion division. In this position, Eugene focused on the formation of a new vision and the further development of his own brands (STM) of the Merlion Group of Companies.
