Simetra has equipped MADI with an academic version of the digital platform RITM³

The Civil Code SIMETRA Moscow Automobile and Road Institute (MADI) and concluded an agreement under which SIMETRA will provide the university with academic ones to licenses use its own development - a digital platform. RITM³ Students of the Department "Organization and Traffic Safety," intelligent transport systems MADI with the help of a digital platform will be able to perform practical tasks. Simetra announced this on April 5, 2024.

The domestic digital platform is RITM³ designed to analyze, plan and manage the transport system at the regional, city or industrial level. The system is used for monitoring, modeling and traffic management. RITM³ consists of modules that differ depending on the problems they solve and can be used both in conjunction and independently of each other. The academic version of the RITM³ digital platform includes basic modules - "Transport Forecasting and Modeling" and "Geo-Information System (GIS)," "Digital Twin."

Within the framework of the agreement, SIMETRA provides MADI with a completely Russian, import-independent RITM³ platform, on which students will be able to work out in the classroom the professional tasks that transport engineers face in practice. In addition, SIMETRA specialists will provide consulting and technical support for working with the system, will conduct classes, share experience.

Skills with this software are an important element of modern university education, which helps students adapt to rapidly developing technologies and expand career opportunities. The development of SIMETRA RITM³ is already used in several regions of Russia for modeling traffic flows and managing intelligent transport systems. Studying the principles of the RITM³ will help our graduates to be in demand in the profession, - said Sultan Zhankaziev, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Head of the Department "Organization and Traffic Safety, Intelligent Transport Systems" MADI.
