On April 15, 2024, UserGate announced that it had protected the IT infrastructure of RNKO Payment Designer LLC, which develops settlements for transactions using electronic means of payment in partnership with fintech companies. During the project to build a secure perimeter and create failover clusters implemented by TS Solution, the UserGate NGFW (Next-Generation Firewall) solution was chosen, combining the functionality of an firewall module and an intrusion detection system (IDS).

According to the company, during the modernization and renewal of the equipment fleet, the organization's management decided to switch to an independent import solution with the possibility of applying existing approaches and information security policies. When choosing a solution, the main focus was on the volume and quality of firewall and routing functions, the reliability of the intrusion detection system and the ability of the equipment to handle high volumes of traffic with full compliance with corporate information security policies.

The system integrator TS Solution, which was tasked with implementing this project - from conducting a comprehensive audit and determining the supplier to implementing, configuring and maintaining the solution - chose UserGate NGFW. The performance of the D500 hardware platform provided the required bandwidth, and the ability to build a failover cluster minimized the risks associated with a possible hardware failure. The functionality of the firewall module and intrusion detection system made it possible to fully implement the requirements of approaches and information security policies.

We conducted a study of the customer's existing IT infrastructure, received from him a technical assignment, requirements for system reliability, functionality and performance.
