2024: Assessment of the impact of heat supply on the ecology of Moscow

The company ES-Project"" on April 17, 2024 announced the implementation of a project to assess the impact of heat supply on. ecology Moscow

ETS-Proekt assesses the impact of heat supply facilities on the environment and climate of Moscow for the future until 2035.

An important area of work for the ES-Project remains the reduction of the consequences of the impact of power facilities on the environment. This is especially true for multimillion-dollar Moscow, whose heat supply is provided by 1,157 sources, including 13 thermal power plants. The ecology of the region is important both for the inhabitants and for the entire flora and fauna of the surrounding area.

As of April 2024, ETS-Project specialists analyze the impact of thermal energy sources on the air and climate of Moscow, and also develop ways to improve environmental and climate safety. The importance of this work is difficult to overestimate - the information received will be used to improve the environment of the region in the near future.

We collect primary information and data, analyze the climatic indicators of the region, study the air basin and the state of air near thermal power facilities. An important stage is the development of an electronic model that will allow you to make an accurate analysis and predict the impact of various factors on the environment. With the help of the model, we will create scenarios for the development of energy infrastructure, taking into account the reduction of emissions and the impact on the climate, - said representatives of ETS-Project.

As a result, the customer will receive a full report with an assessment of environmental and climatic safety for subsequent accounting in the heat supply scheme, as well as proposals for technological and investment solutions.

The results of the project will be used by the relevant departments as part of their tasks:
