2024: Start of VK WorkSpace implementation

The introduction of the VK WorkSpace communication platform has begun in the Rosseti Group. At the first stage of the project, it is planned to connect 100 thousand employees of the holding to new services. VK (formerly Mail.ru Group) announced this on April 22, 2024.

The purchased software is available from both desktop and mobile devices.

VK WorkSpace platform services under the on-premises model will be used by all subsidiaries and affiliates of the group. The first to begin implementation will be the parent company - PJSC Rosseti, whose users will be connected to services, through the VK Teams application until the end of 2024, and to the postal service until mid-2025.

When choosing a solution for corporate communications, the Rosseti Group assessed the usability - email, messenger and collaboration tools should be collected on the same platform. In addition, the scalability of IT solutions is important - the ability to quickly connect new users. By default, maximum fault tolerance and compliance with strict information security requirements are required for a system-forming enterprise.

We conducted a deep analysis of the domestic IT market and the solutions used in the Rosseti Group. VK WorkSpace has offered a set of services that best suits our needs.
