MegaFon and SIMETRA Group of Companies have developed a platform for managing any traffic flows during the construction and maintenance of large industrial enterprises in Russia. The solution is based on end-to-end technology for forecasting, monitoring and controlling cargo not only on the road and railway infrastructure, but also during river navigation throughout the country. The economic effect of launching the solution can exceed 50 million rubles a month. Simetra announced this on April 26, 2024.

The automated complex reduces the risk of disruption of supplies, emergencies and potentially dangerous accidents during the transportation of goods. The solution prevents excessive load on transport, its downtime, disruption in personnel logistics and much more.

The system takes into account a large amount of data from cargo transportation operators and telematic data operators, as well as information from the enterprise management system. Data from mobile devices for fixing goods, conducting technical inspections of vehicles and roads, and designating problem areas are flocked to the automated system through a mobile application. By analyzing the data obtained, you can calculate the real amount of work performed by each unit of equipment, and evaluate the work of contractors.

The system is already working effectively at the large chemical production of the Far East under construction.

The platform has a self-learning dynamic model, which allows you to learn in real time and automatically calculate the transport situation for future periods on the entire road network based on data received from various sources, such as transport detectors, telematics data, video streams. This forecast optimizes the operation of the company's warehouses and helps to prepare the necessary equipment in advance.

In addition, the system in real time is able to simulate the transport situation taking into account all kinds of infrastructure restrictions and events that potentially affect the transportation process and thus assess risks and negative consequences, as well as adopt the most effective scenario.

The developer of the system software was SIMETRA Group of Companies, a competence center in the field of transport flow modeling and transport planning.
