Dion became the main platform for corporate communications in Astra Group

2024: Move to Dion platform

Astra Group switched to the DION cloud platform for corporate communications. The product allows employees to safely make calls, conduct video conferences, as well as meet in virtual meeting rooms, organize collaboration and share files. The holding T1 announced this on May 15, 2024.

One of the key players in import substitution, Astra Group builds its IT infrastructure on Russian technologies, so it chooses the solutions of strategic partners. When looking for a new corporate communications platform, the company focused on the complexity of the solution: it was important to find a system with broader functionality, high-quality communication with a weak or unstable signal and the ability to connect from any device. Earlier, the customer used Zoom until a foreign vendor left the Russian market, restricting access to licenses and updates.

Cloudy ON saves time and does not require additional infrastructure. Moreover, when buying a DION license, free support and assistance is provided at all stages of work. All this also became a plus when the customer chooses this solution.

As of May 2024, Astra Group employees are optionally using the capabilities of DION. The most popular is DION.Rooms - a booking and meeting management system in meeting rooms. It allows you to fully manage the meeting, add new participants in a couple of clicks and launch a screen demonstration from any device.

At the same time, the rejection of hardware infrastructure in favor of software capabilities leads to significant savings on equipment: an average of 7-10 million rubles per room. In the near future, all 2,500 employees of Astra Group will use DION. The transition project is a natural continuation of cooperation with the platform developer: earlier the company added the product to its own repository ON for educational organizations.

When improving DION, we tried to create a multifunctional platform for corporate communications. The solution already allows you to safely conduct joint calls and videoconferences, exchange files and meet in the meeting rooms. In the future, we plan to further develop the product, working on the comfort of use and adding new functionality, - said Anton Spirin, Deputy General Director for Business Development of NOTA (Holding T1).

Domestic software solutions are reaching a new level: they are becoming more technological and complex.
