In order to strengthen ASHAN's position in the grocery retail market and improve financial performance in the direction of online trading, the company integrates the observability platform GMonit, which will ensure the uninterrupted operation of internal and external services of the retail network and improve the user experience of buyers. HeiperSoftLab (GMonit) announced this on May 17, 2024.

For 2023, the total number of online orders in the network increased by 33% compared to 2022. In 2024, the federal network focused on the even more dynamic promotion of e-commerce, the development of its digital services and the launch of new projects, including to expand the coverage of b2c and b2b delivery in various regions of the Russian Federation.

As part of the implementation of strategic goals to improve the reliability and performance of its and partner services, the retailer needed to establish high-quality APM monitoring, which will help ensure uninterrupted operation of applications, reduce financial losses due to system downtime, optimize the client path and eliminate possible risks.

The GMonit platform, which has already passed pilot tests in the retailer's infrastructure and is actively scaling up to May 2024, helps to solve these problems and improve the performance of AUCHAN online services.

Assessing the impact of IT solutions on your business is a complex process that often requires a lot of resources and time. Despite the abundance of all kinds of monitoring tools, it was necessary to eliminate situations where users respond to incidents faster than monitoring tools. The integration of GMonit allowed ASHAN to comprehensively assess the impact of IT on e-com thanks to customized dashboards with clear business metrics and determine vectors to optimize the operation of services. Now the retailer can even more efficiently analyze the client path and quickly make adjustments to improve the user experience.

Scaling GMonit will help ASHAN reduce the level of critical incidents by 45%, reduce the amount of labor required to detect them, and improve understanding of the performance of services and the impact of incidents on them. With the platform's observability, the retailer will provide a complete data-driven approach.
