SIMETRA Group of Companies has put its own development - a digital platform RITM³ the State Budgetary Institution of the Nizhny Novgorod Region (GBU NO) "Institute for the Development of Agglomeration of the Nizhny Novgorod Region." The Institute is the developer of master plans, land use and development rules, urban planning documentation, projects for the integrated development of territories, and also implements measures in the region in the field of pricing and estimated rationing in the field of urban planning.

With the help of RITM³, specialists from the Institute for Agglomeration Development of the Nizhny Novgorod Region will have the opportunity to create models of traffic flows, which is an important component in justifying urban planning decisions for the development of urban areas, in particular their economic component, as well as offer solutions taking into account the needs of the region and its financial capabilities.

The RITM³ architecture is designed according to the principle of modularity. Modules as part of a digital platform can work both independently and in conjunction, complementing each other. The supply for the Institute for the Development of Agglomeration of the Nizhny Novgorod Region includes key system modules covering the main pool of urban planner tasks - Transport Forecasting and Modeling, Geo-Information System and Digital Twin.

Our Institute is the operator of the regional state information system for ensuring urban planning activities, recognized as one of the best in the country. The system is built and aimed at expanding the information and analytical capabilities of the regional GISOGD in reducing the time for the development and coordination of all types of urban planning documentation and at the same time creating conditions for improving its quality through reliable data accumulated in digital format. I am sure that the development of SIMETRA will make it possible to quickly predict and determine the best scenarios for the development of urban transport systems. Our plans are to integrate RITM³ with our system to optimize work with GIS data and modeling results, "said Mikhail Genin, director of the Institute.

Modeling is a powerful tool for supporting decision-making, including urban planning.
