2024: Opening of the laboratory for products "BASEALT"

The BASEALT Product Training and Research Laboratory opened on May 22, 2024 at the V.A. Kazakov Aviation College in Zhukovsky, Moscow Region. This was announced by "BASEALT" on June 10, 2024.

In the laboratory, students of 2, 3 and 4 courses of the specialty "Network and System Administration" in practice will study the work operating systems on. kernel Linux

In the laboratory, students of 2, 3 and 4 courses of the specialty "Network and System Administration" will in practice study the operation of operating systems on the Linux kernel. Using the example of the Alt family of operating systems, they will learn how to deploy, configure and operate the organization's IT infrastructure. Here students will be able to undergo industrial practice, prepare course and diploma projects, and engage in research.

Professional training is based on authorized courses "BASEALT." The Alt Academy project team, together with the pedagogical IT community, constantly updates and improves the content of courses so that they reflect the current state of the IT industry.

When developing courses, the requests of employers and partners, the content of the main educational program of secondary vocational education and work programs of the professional module "Network and System Administration" are taken into account.

The head of the laboratory was Andrei Kuropatkin, a technical school teacher certified for the right to conduct training under the programs of authorized training courses "Administration of the Alt OS." Part 1-2. "

On the basis of the laboratory, in addition to the main curriculum, it is planned to conduct career guidance classes for high school students and demonstration exams.

The training and research laboratory will become a platform for preparing students for a successful demonstration exam and for honing the skill of GNU/Linux systems administration. Here students will be able to prepare for participation in the All-Russian Championship "Professionals" in the competence "Network and System Administration." Since 2022, Alt operating systems have been chosen as the basis for this competence, BASEALT is a partner in the championship movement.
