SBEI HE MO "Technological University named after twice Hero of the Soviet Union, pilot-cosmonaut A.A. Leonova" is a state budgetary educational organization of higher education, administered by the Moscow Region, and implementing the main educational programs of secondary vocational education, higher education, additional education - training programs for qualified workers (employees), training programs for middle-level specialists, training programs for scientific and pedagogical personnel.

History

2019: Assignment to the university of the name of the pilot-cosmonaut A.A. Leonov

On November 22, 2019, by decree of the Governor of the Moscow Region No. 564-PG, the University was named after twice Hero of the Soviet Union, pilot-cosmonaut A.A. Leonov.

2015: Renamed University of Technology

On January 22, 2015, by Decree of the Government of the Moscow Region No. 9/2, the University was renamed the State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education of the Moscow Region "Technological University."

2013

On December 26, 2013, by Decree of the Government of the Moscow Region No. 1137/57, the University was transferred from the departmental subordination of the Ministry of Finance of the Moscow Region to the departmental subordination of the Ministry of Education of the Moscow Region.

2012

Reorganization

On July 11, 2012, by Decree of the Government of the Moscow Region No. 906/24, the University was reorganized in the form of joining the state budgetary educational institution of secondary vocational education of the Moscow Region "Korolevsky State College of Technology and Clothing Design" and the state budgetary educational institution of secondary vocational education of the Moscow Region "Korolevsky College of Space Engineering and Technology."

Renaming to Financial and Technological Academy

On April 12, 2012, by Decree of the Government of the Moscow Region No. 484/13, the University was renamed the State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education of the Moscow Region "Financial and Technological Academy."

2011

On December 15, 2011, by Decree of the Government of the Moscow Region No. 1570/51, the University was renamed the Korolevsky Institute of Management, Economics and Sociology, a state budgetary educational institution of higher professional education in the Moscow Region.

2007

On September 26, 2007, by Decree of the Government of the Moscow Region No. 725/32, the University was transferred to departmental subordination to the Ministry of Finance of the Moscow Region.

2005: Transfer of the Institute to Public Ownership

On December 26, 2005, by Decree of the Government of the Moscow Region No. 964/52, the University was adopted into the state ownership of the Moscow Region and changed its organizational and legal form, becoming the state educational institution of higher professional and postgraduate education in the Moscow Region "Korolevsky Institute of Management, Economics and Sociology." Founder of the University Ministry of Education of the Moscow Region.

2001: Transfer of the institute to municipal ownership

On July 13, 2001, by decree of the Head of the city of Korolev No. 1009, the University was transferred to municipal ownership and received the name of the municipal educational institution of higher professional and postgraduate education (higher educational institution) "Korolevsky Institute of Management, Economics and Sociology."

1999: Renamed Korolev Institute of Management, Economics and Sociology

On April 27, 1999, the name was changed to the non-state educational institution Korolevsky Institute of Management, Economics and Sociology.

1998: Creation of the Korolev Academy of Management, Economics and Sociology

The university was formed on July 13, 1998 in the form of a non-profit organization with the name: Non-governmental educational institution "Korolev Academy of Management, Economics and Sociology."
