The Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Moscow Region is the central executive body of the state power of the Moscow Region of special competence, carrying out executive and administrative activities in the territory of the Moscow region in the spheres of the economy, strategic planning, financial, budgetary, credit and tax areas implementing public policy, carrying out regulatory regulation, inter-sectoral management and coordination of activities in these areas of other central and territorial executive bodies of state power of the Moscow region, state bodies of the Moscow Region and state institutions of the Moscow Region formed for the implementation of certain functions of public administration of the Moscow Region[1].
History
2016: Reorganization and renaming to the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Moscow Region
By Decree of the Governor of the Moscow Region of December 19, 2016 No. 544-PG[2], the Ministry of Finance of the Moscow Region was reorganized in the form of joining the Ministry of Economy of the Moscow Region. The Ministry of Finance of the Moscow Region has been renamed the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Moscow Region.
