Main Directorate of Civil Protection of the Moscow Region

The Main Directorate of Civil Protection of the Moscow Region is the central executive body of state power of the Moscow Region of special competence, carrying out executive and administrative activities on the territory of the Moscow region and pursuing state policy in the field of protecting the population and territories of the Moscow region from emergencies of an inter-municipal and regional nature and eliminating their consequences, civil defense, in the field of fire safety, as well as the search and rescue of people on water bodies.
