The administration of the city district Silver Ponds of the Moscow Region is the executive and administrative body of the city district, endowed with the authority to resolve issues of local importance and the authority to exercise certain state powers transferred to local governments by federal laws and laws of the Moscow Region[1].
History
2016: Renaming Administration
By the decision of the Council of Deputies of the Serebryano-Prudsky Municipal District of the Moscow Region dated January 18, 2016 No. 673/69[2], the Administration of the Serebryano-Prudsky Municipal District was renamed the Administration of the City District Serebryany Prudy of the Moscow Region.
2015: Formation of Silver Ponds Urban District
On the basis of the law of the Moscow Region dated October 26, 2015 No. 179/2015-OZ[3], the territories of the urban settlement Serebryany Prudy, the rural settlement Uzunovskoye, the rural settlement Uspenskoye, the rural settlement Mochilskoye were united without changing the boundaries of the territory of the Serebryano-Prudsky municipal district. As a result of the unification of settlements, the powers of local governments and local government officials of each of the united settlements were terminated. Settlements have lost the status of municipalities. The urban settlement formed by changing the composition of the territory of the Serebryano-Prudsky municipal district was endowed with the status of an urban district - the urban district of Silver Ponds.
