The Chekhov City District Administration is the executive and administrative body of local self-government of the Chekhov City District, endowed with powers to resolve issues of local importance and powers to exercise certain state powers transferred to local self-government bodies by federal laws and laws of the Moscow Region[1].

History

2017

Renaming the Administration

By the decision of the Council of Deputies of the Chekhov City District dated October 25, 2017 No. 49/5-2017[2], the Administration[2] the Chekhov Municipal District was renamed the Administration of the Chekhov City District. The Chekhov City District Administration and its branch (functional) bodies are the successor to:

  • Administration of Chekhov Municipal District;
  • Administration of the urban settlement Stolbovaya;
  • Administration of the rural settlement Barantsevskoye;
  • Administrations of the rural settlement of Lyubuchanskoye;
  • Administration of the rural settlement Stremilovskoye of the Chekhov municipal district of the Moscow region[3].

Formation of Chekhov urban district

On the basis of the law of the Moscow region dated May 24, 2017 No. 83/2017-OZ[4], the territories of the urban settlement of Stolbovaya, the urban settlement of Chekhov, the rural settlement of Barantsevskoye, the rural settlement of Lyubuchanskoye, the rural settlement of Stremilovskoye were united without changing the borders of the territory of the Chekhov municipal district (the territory of the Chekhov municipal district includes a city, the territory of a working village and rural settlements that are not municipalities). The urban settlement formed by changing the composition of the territory of the Chekhov municipal district is endowed with the status of an urban district - the urban district of Chekhov.
