Administration of the urban district of Shchelkovo

The administration of the Shchelkovo city district is the executive and administrative body of the Shchelkovo city district, endowed with powers to resolve issues of local importance and powers to exercise state powers transferred to local governments by federal laws and laws of the Moscow region^[1].

History

2019: Administration renaming

By the decision of the Council of Deputies of the Shchelkovsky Municipal District dated March 19, 2019 No. 919/85^[2], the Administration of the Shchelkovsky Municipal District was renamed the Administration of the Shchelkovo City District of the Moscow Region.

2018: Formation of the urban district of Shchelkovo

On the basis of the law of the Moscow Region dated December 28, 2018 No. 258/2018-OZ^[3], the territories^[3] urban settlement of Zagoryansky, the urban settlement of Monino, the urban settlement of Fryanovo, the urban settlement of Shchelkovo, the rural settlement of Grebnevskoye, the rural settlement of Medvezhye-Ozerskoye, the rural settlement of Ogudnevskoye, the rural settlement of Trubinskoye were united without changing the borders of the territory of the ShChelkovsky municipal district. As a result of the unification of settlements, the powers of local governments and local government officials of each of the united settlements were terminated. Settlements have lost the status of municipalities. The municipality formed by changing the composition of the territory of the Shchelkovsky municipal district is endowed with the status of an urban district - the urban district of Shchelkovo.
