Ministry of Ecology and Nature Management of the Moscow Region

The Ministry of Ecology and Nature Management of the Moscow Region is the executive body of state power of the Moscow Region. The Ministry carries out its activities both directly and in cooperation with federal executive bodies, central and territorial executive bodies of state power of the Moscow region, state bodies of the Moscow region, local self-government bodies of municipalities of the Moscow region.

History

2021: Adoption of powers of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region

Decree of the Government of the Moscow Region of February 16, 2021 No. 98/6^[1] established, that the Ministry of Ecology and Nature Management of the Moscow Region is the successor of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region in terms of the exercise of transferred powers in the fields of hunting and conservation of hunting resources, the protection, reproduction and use of wildlife and their habitat , on regional state supervision in the field of technical condition and operation of self-propelled vehicles and other types of equipment, attractions in the Moscow region, including obligations arising from court decisions.
