2024: Overview 360 Solution Presentation

On June 18, 2024, Zyfra Group of Companies launched the Review 360 import-substituted circular video review and collision prevention system to improve safety at mining enterprises. The system is installed on various types of quarry equipment, including dump trucks, bulldozers, excavators and drilling rigs. The domestic solution was created to replace the foreign security system from Orlaco.

The solution uses various combinations of radar, thermal vision and video analytics technologies. Up to 8 cameras (6 external and 2 internal) are used to obtain a circular image without blind spots.

The Russian software and hardware solution allows the operator to control the situation around the equipment, notifies it of dangerous approaches, records actions on video, and automatically registers and stores video information for its subsequent viewing and analysis. The system includes remote monitoring, which allows you to control the location of the vehicle from a mobile phone and the current situation around and inside the quarry equipment through a web application.

"Review 360" closes the most frequent accident scenarios resulting in accidents, including staff run-ins, sideline exits during unloading, collisions with other vehicles, and other accidents involving blind spots, poor visibility conditions, human factors such as loss of concentration, and operator fatigue. The latter can be controlled due to the optional Anti-Son module. The solution uses machine vision technologies to determine the facts of loss of concentration and violation of safety by the operator of equipment: falling asleep, smoking, communication on a mobile phone, neglect of a seat belt, etc.

During tests in one of the coal companies, we calculated that 14% of incidents in their quarries are collisions with personnel in the blind area of the equipment operator's view. The introduction of a round-robin video review system can prevent hit-and-run accidents or minimize downtime by reducing incident investigation time. In most cases, companies previously used an import solution that has now become unavailable. It took more than a year for our technological partners to make a high-quality domestic analogue, "said Nikolai Godunov, executive director of the Mining Production division of the Zyfra Group.
