Simetra has equipped the Ural Federal University with a Russian digital platform RITM³

2024: Delivery of RITM³

SIMETRA Group of Companies has delivered its own development - a domestic digital platform RITM³ to the Ural Federal University named after First President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin (UrFU). The software will be applied at the Institute of Construction and Architecture at the Department of Urban Construction. Simetra announced this on June 26, 2024.

The scientific work of our department is focused on the organization of transport and pedestrian traffic in the Middle Urals, on issues of transport services for the population within the Yekaterinburg agglomeration. In the projects of the department, we plan to use RITM³ for macromodeling transport flows. Also, the RITM³ digital platform will help us introduce students to advanced Russian technologies in the educational process and diploma design, "said Yevgeny Pentsev, representative of the Department of Urban Construction of the Institute of Construction and Architecture of the Ural Federal University.

SIMETRA has equipped UrFU with a license for a digital RITM³ platform for 100 districts, which allows you to create transport models with varying degrees of detail for the number of transport districts required in the project.

With the help of the module "Transport modeling and forecasting," undergraduate students will be able to prepare diploma projects. RITM³ will help them create transport models of cities and learn to optimize the work of public transport.

Several universities are already Russia using Russian software RITM³, and we are glad that UrFU has joined them. In the Ural region, on the basis of our digital platform, the Unified Transport System Management Platform is developing, and Yekaterinburg is Sverdlovsk region part of it intelligent transport system. Teachers and students of UrFU will be able to work with the most modern technologies in Russia in the transport sector, - said Oleg Yakovenko, director of software sales at SIMETRA Group of Companies.
