2024: Agreement on modernization of heating network facilities

On June 25, 2024, a cooperation agreement was signed between the administration of the Kursk region and Rosatom Infrastructure Solutions JSC. The document was signed by Acting Governor Alexei Smirnov and General Director of the company Ksenia Sukhotina.

The parties agreed to intensify cooperation in all key areas of cooperation - from the modernization of the facilities of the heating network complex of the regional center to the Smart City project.

The signed agreement is aimed at developing and strengthening partnerships between the company and the region. We are in constant cooperation and work together to improve the quality and reliability of the heat supply system. In Kursk particular, within the framework of the concession agreement, valid since 2020, we have modernized more than 45 km of municipal heating systems and three central heating points in three years. This agreement creates the basis for expanding this, undoubtedly, important work to update the communal infrastructure of the regional center, "said Ksenia Sukhotina.

Since 2019, we have begun a large-scale reconstruction of housing and communal services networks in the regional center. During this time, a significant amount of work has been completed, but it is important to continue and increase the pace gained. I am sure that the signed agreement will make it possible to implement all the planned plans. For our part, we will provide comprehensive support, - said the acting governor of the Kursk region Alexei Smirnov.

In 2024, the company will allocate more than 1.3 billion rubles for the repair and reconstruction of its own and concession equipment in Kursk. It is also planned to allocate more than 100 million rubles from the regional budget. About 10 km of heating networks will be replaced (including 3.5 km under the concession), 10 municipal heating stations will be reconstructed, and heating network, generating and other equipment of the thermal power plant will be repaired.
