IT - Rosatom's subsidiary purchased Russian OS and office software for 33 thousand. PC for 793 million rubles

On July 25, 2024, it became known that Atomdata-Integration, which is part of the management structure of Concern Rosenergoatom, acquired licenses for Russian operating systems and office software in the amount of 793 million rubles. The purchase covers 33 thousand. PC and includes both client and server licenses.

According to CNews, Atomdata-Integration has placed two tenders on the public procurement website. One of the tenders, worth 489.7 million rubles, was aimed at purchasing operating systems. The winner was the Krasnodar company Internet Technologies and Communications LLC. The second tender in the amount of 302.8 million rubles was won by Rostelecom's subsidiary RTK Digital Technologies LLC, which will supply office software.

All operating systems purchased by Atomdat are included in the Unified Register of Russian Programs for Electronic Computers and Databases. Among them are such operating systems as Astra Linux, Alt, Red OS and ROSA Linux. In April of this year, the company already purchased 41 Astra Linux licenses in the amount of 488.7 thousand rubles from Axoft.

Atomdata-Integration office software also requires compliance with the register of domestic software. Among the possible solutions are Alter Office, P7-Office and My Office. The exact names have not yet been specified, but all selected solutions must meet the requirements of import substitution.

The purchase of these software solutions is carried out within the framework of the import substitution strategy aimed at reducing dependence on foreign software. RTK Digital Technologies LLC, part of the Rostelecom group of companies, provides comprehensive software and hardware solutions for workplaces, including operating systems, office applications, document management systems and other tools.^[1]
