2024: Work to build the system

On May 30, 2024, the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation announced a tender for the preparation for the commissioning of components of the Russian segment of the integrated information system of the Eurasian Economic Union (IIS EAEU). The initial contract price is 59.37 million rubles.

This platform is designed to ensure interstate exchange of data and electronic documents within the EAEU, create information resources common to member countries, implement common processes, and ensure the activities of the EAEU bodies. As of May 2024, the IIS includes subsystems for processing messages, logging, administration, interaction with segments, ensuring information security, monitoring information exchange and working with a system of interdepartmental electronic interaction. Within the framework of the new contract, further development of the EAEU IIS is planned.

The Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation allocated 59 million rubles for the EAEU IT system

In accordance with the terms of the competition, the work will be carried out in three stages. The first contractor carries out certification tests in the field of information protection. These tests shall be performed in accordance with the requirements of the current regulations and methodological documents of the FFIV authorized in the field of counteracting technical intelligence and technical information protection. The second phase provides for the development of a technical assignment in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Security Service (FSB).

At the third stage, the functionality of the EAEU IIS components is being finalized in terms of maintaining the formats of interaction between legal entities (business entities) with the authorized bodies of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union and the Eurasian Economic Commission using the service of a trusted third party (B2G interaction). The only participant in the competition is the FGAU Research Institute "Sunrise."[1]
