BIA Technologies Optimizes Data Management for Lazuritis

BIA Technologies has optimized data management for Lazurit. This was reported to BIA Technologies on July 4, 2024.

The IT company implemented a project to create a single database based on 1C: Torg. Now Lazurit promptly receives information both for the enterprise as a whole, and for each of the numerous offices, warehouses and branches.

Prior to contacting BIA Technologies, Lazurit's regional offices operated in disparate bases, data which made it difficult to quickly exchange and transfer information. It took up to 7 days to receive the consolidated statement.

Given the scale of the Lazurit trading network, the project has become a serious challenge for us. We managed to combine 10 disparate 1C: Bargaining databases and carry out a phased migration of all data from individual systems. As a result, a single database was created that supports the simultaneous operation of several thousand users (up to 3,000 simultaneous sessions in the system). We are very glad that we managed to successfully implement the project and meet the customer's expectations, "said Alexander Volovik, Commercial Director of BIA Technologies.

When choosing a contractor, we focused on the experience of working with high-load systems. BIA Technologies offered an optimal solution to the problem of creating a single database, taking into account the specifics of our IT landscape, and professionally performed work without stopping business processes. As a result, the transparency of accounting has increased, the time for receiving information from all divisions of the company has decreased and the cost of maintaining the information system has decreased, "said Mikhail Smirnov, Information Technology Director of Lazurit.

The project also included an audit of the company's IT landscape, refinement of the 1C configuration: Bargaining for all users to work in the same system, optimization of settings, creation of a single business process for working with the database for all branches. BIA Technologies engineers trained Lazurit IT specialists in the maintenance of a single base.
