At the end of 2022, the revenue of BIA-Technologies (BIA Technologies) increased by 67.1% to 4,499 million rubles. In the ranking "TAdviser100: The largest IT companies in Russia 2023," such an indicator allowed the company to take 106 lines (6th line of the list of applicants for inclusion in the number of the largest IT companies in Russia).

History

2025: Name change to "Biatech"

BIATECH is the new name of BIA Technologies. The integrator and solution vendor IT completed the rebranding. The changes affected both the visual style and the brand of the company - now it will work as "BIATECH." The company announced this on December 24, 2025.

The rebranding was a logical continuation of the development of the IT company and a response to the challenges of the IT market. In addition, the changed name not only emphasizes the domestic origin of the brand, but reflects the company's values: a commitment to technological improvement of processes, the use of business mathematics and artificial intelligence in the implementation of projects.

To grow ahead of the market, you need to change faster than others. For more than 10 years, we have been implementing projects to automate key business processes of customers and complement them with advanced solutions based on mathematical optimization and AI. We focus on the efficiency of logistics and performance management of massive 1C configurations, integrate digital technologies into all aspects of our own company and begin transformation with ourselves. It was important for us to keep the part of the name familiar to employees and recognizable to customers and to emphasize the technological sphere of our business. At the same time, the name had to be unique in order to become an IT brand. So BIATECH appeared, - said the general director of the company Alexander Naumtsev.

2024

Opening an office in Yekaterinburg

BIA Technologies opened an office in Yekaterinburg. The company announced this on November 1, 2024.

The division was the fifth for BIA Technologies, and IT representative offices are located in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tambov and Omsk. The opening of an office in the Urals is a response to more frequent requests from the region, where high-tech software for developing industries is increasingly required.

Localizing resources will allow us to streamline processes and adapt faster to changing customer needs. Thanks to highly qualified specialists and developed infrastructure, we will be able not only to improve the quality of the services provided, but also to speed up the implementation of projects, the press service of BIA Technologies noted.

For November 2024, a full-stack development team began work in the branch, which covers the entire process of creating software - from designing a user interface to working with databases and server logic. Such a diverse expertise allows you to effectively solve complex problems and create high-quality solutions.

Pig & Partners Management Company became a member of the co-owners of BIA Technologies

The Swinin & Partners management company acquired a 43% stake in the St. Petersburg IT company BIA Technologies, becoming one of its key co-owners. This became known in October 2024, as evidenced by the data of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (USRUL).

According to the Business News Agency, the change in the ownership structure is associated with the exit from the business of one of the founders of the company Denis Shvedenkov, who previously owned a 50% stake in BIA-Technologies LLC. Its package was divided between the Pig and Partners Management Company and Alexander Kobzev, managing partner of the Yus Aureum law firm.

BIA Technologies specializes in the development of IT products and services for business. The company is known for its innovative solutions, including the BIA BPLEX mathematical solver for optimization calculations and the first BPM system based on the 1C BIA Sunrise BPM platform. These developments are included in the Unified Register of Russian Programs for Electronic Computers and Databases.

Alexander Kobzev, who received a 7% stake in the company, has experience in the field of mergers and acquisitions. He also owns stakes in a number of other enterprises, including Sanamix LLC, Tsunami Insurance Broker LLC and several companies in the tobacco and real estate industries.

The entry of Pig & Partners Management Company into the co-owners of BIA Technologies can contribute to the further development of the company and strengthen its position in the IT solutions market. Experts note that such transactions often lead to increased opportunities to attract investment and enter new markets.

The remaining 50% stake in BIA Technologies is still held by former owners, ensuring continuity in the management of the company and maintaining its core development strategy.^[1]
