Biography

He graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT), where he studied plasma power.

At the start of his career, he was engaged in business analysis at the consulting company McKinsey & Company. He also led the Supply team at Qlean. Under the leadership of Dmitry Samozhkin, indicators of a twofold increase in the profitability of the company and the quality of the services provided by it were achieved.

Then he was the product director at SberDevices, where under his leadership the project "Virtual Assistant" Salute "was launched, which attracted more than 20 million users in just a year after launch.

In 2022, he joined the Aircraft 10D team as general director. Over the two years of the platform's operation, the 10D productivity of the Samolet group increased by 57%, the cost of construction decreased by 15% and the construction time decreased by two months. In 2024, together with the team, he brought the 10D platform to the foreign market and implements joint technological projects with the top 10 developers of the country.

2024: Head of the new unit - "Technology Aircraft "

As TAdviser found out in July 2024, Ksenia Pozdnyakova, director of IT and digital transformation at the Samolet group, is leaving the company. Instead, the direction will be headed by Dmitry Samozhkin, who until now holds the position of general director of the Aircraft 10D digital platform. As part of the strategy for transforming the Airplane group into a pro-tech company, the developer consolidated all IT areas and created a new Aircraft Technologies unit. Dmitry Samozhkin became its leader. The IT directorate of the company also entered the new block, - told TAdviser in the "Airplane."

The key priority of the block will be to combine the development of all IT solutions of the company to build a single data model, accelerate the launch of new products, the growth of business metrics in finished products, as well as synchronization, interaction and exchange of experience of all IT divisions of the block. Under the leadership of Dmitry, both IT solutions developed only for internal use by Airplane and those available to the market (for example, 10D by samolet, Team by samolet) will be combined.

The Airplane Group began digital transformation in 2019, and in recent years has systematically increased investments in IT. In 2023, the group's IT budget amounted to 10 billion rubles. Earlier, the company reported that plans for 2024 include a multiple increase in investment and team size.
