2024: Implementation of UserGate NGFW

The equipment UserGate was introduced IT infrastructure in the State Budgetary Institution of the city. GBU "DO TZF TiNAO" was created on the basis of order of the Moscow Government of July 9, 2012 No. 358-RP. The main tasks of the institution include the protection and maintenance of specially protected green areas, the maintenance of parks, territories adjacent to highways, streets and inter-settlement passages, as well as the accounting and inventory of plantations on the lands of the green fund of the TiNAO.

In the process of upgrading and updating the equipment, the management of GBU DO TZF TiNAO decided to switch to an import-independent solution while maintaining existing approaches and information security policies. The main focus of the solution was on the functionality of firewall and routing, the reliability of the intrusion detection system and the ability of the equipment to handle high volumes of traffic, while fully complying with corporate information security policies.

The performance of the UserGate D500 hardware platform provided the required bandwidth, and the ability to build a failover cluster minimized the risks associated with a possible hardware failure. To organize VPNs, two UserGate S150 hardware platforms were introduced to the production bases of the institution, providing a secure and stable connection.

The functionality of the firewall and intrusion detection system made it possible to fully implement information security requirements.
