2024: Ladoga bought "Center-Product"

Ladoga Group of Companies, a well-known producer of alcoholic beverages, including Tsarskaya vodka and Barrister gin, acquired the Center-Product distillate factory in Budennovsk, Stavropol Territory. The transaction was completed in July 2024, as confirmed by data from the SPARK system.

According to RBC, Ladoga-Yug LLC, part of the Ladoga group, became the new owner of the Kalmyk Center-Product LLC, which owns the Budennovsky plant. Ladoga representatives confirmed the acquisition of the enterprise.

Center-Product, founded in 1999, originally specialized in the production of alcohol, but subsequently received a license to make distillates of whiskey. In 2023, the company produced 745.5 thousand decaliters of distillates from raw materials produced in the Stavropol and Krasnodar Territories, as well as in Karachay-Cherkessia.

Ladoga plans significant investments in the development of the acquired asset. The company intends to invest ₽1 billion in the modernization of the enterprise, including the renewal of the capacitive park, the acquisition of oak barrels of American, French and Caucasian oak, as well as the expansion of the distillation shop.

As a result of the modernization, the plant's production capacity is expected to increase by one and a half times from the current figure of 1 million decaliters of viscous distillates per year. In addition, Ladoga is considering producing distillates other than viscose distillates.

The acquisition of the plant in Budennovsk is not Ladoga's only step towards expanding production capacity. The company also invests ₽5 billion in the construction of a new production and warehouse complex for 12.5 hectares of the Krasnoselskaya industrial zone in St. Petersburg, which will produce at least 12 million decaliters of strong alcohol annually.^[1]
