2025: Project Completion

The Russian division of the pump equipment manufacturer WILO has completed the transition from SAP to the 1C ERP system. This became known in March 2025. The company "Vilo Rus" switched to the domestic solution "1C:ERP Enterprise Management 2."

The project for import substitution of the ERP system was implemented by the Yekaterinburg office "Real Automation" of the company "First Bit." The transition process ensured the complete preservation of functionality, a high degree of automation of business processes and an increase in the speed of preparation of regulated reporting by 40%.

Russian subsidiary of pump manufacturer WILO removed SAP software and switched to 1C:ERP

At the time of the start of the project, Vilo Rus worked with a foreign SAP system, which generally met the requirements of the business. The contractor was faced with the task of conducting import substitution of the ERP system in a short time with the reconstruction of all key processes in Russian software.

Among the tasks set for the specialists of "First Bit" was the creation of an IT infrastructure capable of supporting the high automation of the sales and production unit, as well as the development of tools for the formation of management reporting according to international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and regulated reporting.

The first stage of work on the project was the definition of a minimum viable product (MVP), which would allow the enterprise to continue working in the new software product as soon as possible and without losing functionality. The project team collected the requirements for the new system and modeled the processes in the typical "1C: ERP" configuration.

The second phase included the implementation of MVP with the launch into industrial operation before the end of 2023. The units of Russian and international regulated accounting, sales management, procurement, as well as costs and cost calculation were adapted. To automate business processes, 1C:ERP was configured to exchange data with the solutions 1C: Payroll and HR Management, 1C: Document Flow 8 KORP, 1C:WMS and the TSAR VUAYAZH advance report accounting service[1]
