National Insurance Information System (NSIS JSC) - automates electronic document management using the TESSA platform. The project is interesting because it actively uses artificial intelligence technologies to process large amounts of data. Synthellect announced this on July 31, 2024.

From October 1, 2024, according to the federal law of 594-FZ, insurers will be required to transfer data to the AIS Insurance for four types of insurance: MTPL cash insurance transport , voluntary civil liability, housing for citizens. The operator of this system is JSC NSIS.

The company needed a single digital solution that could integrate with all IT services used in the work. Since the key area of ​ ​ activity for NSIS JSC is the digitalization of the insurance industry, there were many such services - including an AI system, their own development of the NSIS team. It provides optical text recognition, configures negotiation routes, and also prepares automatic response templates for letters.

Having studied the offers of all major players in the EDO market, the company stopped choosing on the TESSA version 4.0 platform from SYNTHELLECT. As a universal platform close to a CSP-class system, TESSA has a high degree of flexibility in adapting various types of systems, and open source code and well-developed technical documentation allow you to quickly perform any improvements by the customer or partner.

To get a complete picture, the specialists of NSIS JSC also organized meetings with representatives of the largest companies in the financial sector to exchange experience in automation and choose the most suitable solution.

The main goal of the project is to minimize the load on users in the EDMS by automating routine operations. This will allow in the future to cope with a large flow of documents and comply with the deadlines for processing applications from citizens even in the event of an unpredictable load, without the need to expand the staff of specialists.

As part of the first stage, integrations with the AI system, the personal account of the Russian Post, the mail client, as well as the internal portal of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities are configured. The EDMS implements the ability to form an automatic response to incoming letters using ready-made templates formed using artificial intelligence. To do this, based on the real database, scenarios of each stage of the document life cycle were highlighted: from receipt of it in the organization to sending a response. The system analyzes the text of the file, highlights key entities in it, and based on this data, a document card is formed with an attachment and one of the response options. At the same time, AI learns all the time, passing through itself all the documents received by the EDMS.

You have set up direct Mail integration to process correspondence in TESSA API. Russia Employees working in the EDMS can, at the click of one button login in the personal account of the zakaznoe.pochta.ru site, draw up a document based on the proposed template, and then transfer it for further processing.

By July 2024, TESSA is undergoing pilot operation and is used by employees of NSIS JSC to process incoming and outgoing documentation. As a system for storing content (files) on the project, S3 storage is introduced - a cloud service that allows you to store files of any type and volume and provides instant access to information.
