Axelot helped Lacra Group form the concept of the warehouse complex. Axelot announced this on August 30, 2024.

After changing the place for the construction of the warehouse, which was helped by Axelot specialists, Lacra Group of Companies again turned to its partner to update the previous project taking into account the features of the new site.

Inmakso-Lacra LLC (Lacra Group of Companies) produces decorative paints and coatings and occupies a leading position in the Russian market. The company offers a variety of paint and plaster tools, decorative paint and varnish materials, as well as civil and industrial coatings such as paints, varnishes, enamels, plaster, wood protection products, mounting foams, sealants and other high-quality materials.

At the beginning of 2024, Axelot specialists designed a warehouse complex for Lacra Group of Companies, but the customer decided to change the construction site of the future warehouse. Since the selected land plot had different characteristics and restrictions, the concept of the warehouse had to be formed based on a new building spot. Nevertheless, Axelot specialists managed to complete this task not from scratch, but based on a previously developed concept, which was adjusted to the current conditions.

The peculiarities of storage and cargo processing in relation to the past implemented project have not changed: one pallet type in all warehouses (EUR); selection of orders is carried out individually and in boxes, shipments - in pallets; The warehouse handles flammable, oversized and small-scale types of goods. The only difference was an increase in the target storage volume of the Flammable group of goods, which in turn required an expansion of the area of ​ ​ this area. The problem was solved by reducing the storage volume of the main group of goods: in the initial project there was a surplus of this zone, therefore, a revision of the total warehouse area towards its increase was not required.

During the work, the Axelot team updated the results of the previous project with the new conditions. In particular:

• optimal geometric parameters of the object, column grid, ramp arrangement, presence of a construction mezzanine are determined;
• updated 2D-section diagram with indication of production complex, buildings and structures, traffic routes transport on the territory, parking places, shunting platforms and fire passages;
• the capacity and throughput parameters of the warehouse process areas are calculated.

In a short time, Axelot specialists adapted the results of the previous project and created an updated warehouse concept for Lacra Group of Companies, corresponding to the target cargo flows, inventory volume, restrictions and characteristics of the selected land plot. Owner has received a plan for the future warehouse complex with updated storage areas and structures. After the completion of construction, Lacra Group plans to replicate to the new Axelot WMS warehouse.
